Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for your interest in Kris Mason’s Off (off) Broadway Comedy Showcase: The Post Inaugural - ObamaNation - Hope and Change - Economic Comic Stimulus Edition. Tickets are already available and selling fast.  Why wouldn’t they; where else can you get 5 professional Stand-Up Comics for only $15? And what were you going to do in Mesa on a Saturday night anyway?

Here is my response to the two questions I hear the most.  Yes, I’m funny; no, I won’t talk about you.  With that out of the way, the following are the most frequently asked questions:

Regarding Tickets:

Q: Where do I get my tickets?

A: From me, Kris Mason.  I bartend at the Applebee’s on the south east corner of Brown and Higley (in the same parking lot as The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre).  I work from 4pm to 11pm every Sunday, and 4pm to midnight every Monday.  If you have cash, the quickest way to get tickets is to meet me at the bar.  Or call me 480-600-6973.

Q: Can I buy my tickets with a Credit Card?

A: Yes.  You can buy tickets with a credit card through Pay Pal (the same way you buy on e-bay).

Here is a description of how

Send me an e-mail at KrisMasonComedy@gmail.com.  In the body of the e-mail, tell me how many tickets you want, and what show you would like to attend (7pm or 9pm).

Via e-mail, I will send you a Pay Pal invoice for your ticket request.  Follow the links to pay with credit card.  When your purchase has gone through, I receive a confirmation e-mail.

You can either pick your tickets up from me at Applebee’s (see the above question), or have them waiting for you at the entrance to the comedy showroom.

Q: Can I buy my tickets at The Broadway Palm Dinner Theater Box Office?

A: No, all tickets are sold exclusively by Kris Mason (see the above two questions).

Q: I bought six tickets and now two people can’t go; can I get a Refund?

A: Unfortunately, no.  All ticket sales are Final.  Just get two more friends.

Regarding Seating and the Show:

Q: Can I reserve my seating?

A: Yes… and no.  Although it is general seating (first come, first served), we are reserving tables for parties of 5 (five) or more.  This is for the sole purpose of not wanting large groups to have to move their own furniture.

If you are in a smaller party, you will more than likely be seated with someone you don’t know at your table.  If you have concern about getting “the best” seating arrive at least thirty minutes early.

Q: Will Food or Drinks be available?

A: Although it is at a dinner theatre, it is not a dinner show.  Adding dinner would change the ticket price dramatically.  As for drinks, there will be a cash bar with table service.  There is never a drink minimum.

Q: Which Show is better, the 7pm or the 9pm?

A: Here is all I can tell you.

The 7pm show is perfect for those people who get up for work at 5am or worse, get out of work early, have finished dinner by 5:30pm, and don’t want to wait around all night to have some fun.  This show carries a PG-13 rating (nothing your kids haven’t heard and suitable for prime time television).

The 9pm show is perfect for those people who don’t get out of work until 5pm or later, don’t ever eat dinner before 7pm, and don’t want to miss the first 20 minutes of a really great show.  This show carries an R rating (nothing your kids haven’t heard on HBO but you will be more comfortable laughing about it without them around).

Which ever you are, also know this; the first show must arrive at the gate on time.  Meaning, because there is a 9pm show, we have to end the 7pm show on time, kick everyone out (gently), clean, reset and reseat the room all before 9pm; the second show has no time restrictions, so it tends to run a little longer.

You pick.

I’ll see you at the show.

Thanks,

Kris
